Temporary cover for hole from removed wall sconce?
Removed wall-mounted sconces in the hallway and left behind two small holes plus some wiring chase openings. Need a quick, low-profile way to cover them until I decide on new lighting. Any clean solutions?

Sconce removals always leave awkward little holes and slots. Instead of patching multiple spots I cover the whole area with one larger panel that looks intentional. Plastic versions are lightweight, easy to cut if needed, and hold paint without bubbling. The one I put up has a smooth face and magnetic edge retention so it stays put but pulls off cleanly. After texturing and painting to match the wall it's barely noticeable. I fitted a decent wall hole cover (12×12) over both holes and the chase—it saved hours of spackling and sanding. Great for rentals or when you're not ready for full repairs.
