Kitchen brushes for dishes that handle grease well?

We cook a lot of fried food and the plates/pans get really greasy. Regular sponges just spread it. Looking for kitchen brushes for dishes that cut through oil and stuck bits without too much scrubbing.

Greasy dishes are tough—sponges soak up oil and make everything worse. A brush with decently firm bristles helps break up the grease faster. I usually start with hot water and dish soap, then scrub in circles. This kitchen brushes for dishes I’ve used for a while does a good job on oily plates and frying pans. The bristles agitate the grease without flattening quickly, and the handle gives solid control even when slippery. It rinses clean pretty easily too. For really bad buildup I let things soak a minute first. It’s held up through heavy use and doesn’t leave bristles behind in the sink.

Cleaning pet hair from ceiling fan blades?

My ceiling fans collect a thick layer of dog hair on the blades (static + air movement). It’s gross when the fan blows it around. How do you clean high-up blades without making a mess?

Ceiling fan blades are sneaky hair collectors. I wait for a still day, put an old pillowcase over each blade one at a time, pull it off slowly so hair stays inside, then shake outside. For any remaining dust/hair I use an extendable duster first, then adhesive. Taping 1 lint roller to the end of a broom handle lets me reach and roll each blade clean without climbing a ladder every time. Takes about ten minutes total and prevents the hair blizzard when I turn the fan back on.

Quick question — are these 1 disposable coffee cups with lids microwave safe?

Planning to reheat coffee sometimes at home. Are the 1 disposable coffee cups with lids you use microwave-safe, or do they warp/melt? Looking for practical everyday ones, not super fancy. 50+ count pack would be ideal.

Most paper ones aren’t officially microwave-safe, but I’ve tested these briefly (15–25 seconds to warm up already lukewarm coffee) and they held up fine — no melting, no weird taste, lid stays on. Just don’t do it empty or for too long. For normal use they’re solid: good heat retention, tight lids, reasonable price per cup. Here’s the exact product I’ve been using without issues: 1 disposable coffee cups with lids . Probably still safer to transfer to a ceramic mug for longer reheating though.

Splatter screen recommendation for small apartment kitchen?

Small kitchen here, very limited storage. Is there a decent compact splatter screen for frying pan that doesn’t take much space but still does the job for normal 10–11 inch pans? Mostly fry eggs, fish, veggies. Thanks!

For small kitchens the 11–12 inch ones are usually enough and much easier to store. They still protect well on 24–28 cm pans with only a bit of overhang. I live in a tiny place and my screen hangs on the inside of a cabinet door – takes zero extra drawer space. Mesh is tight enough to stop most splatter but airflow is good. This model has been great for my setup – lightweight, strong handle, easy to clean – splatter screen for frying pan . Perfect balance for apartment living.

Temporary cover for hole from removed wall sconce?

Removed wall-mounted sconces in the hallway and left behind two small holes plus some wiring chase openings. Need a quick, low-profile way to cover them until I decide on new lighting. Any clean solutions?

Sconce removals always leave awkward little holes and slots. Instead of patching multiple spots I cover the whole area with one larger panel that looks intentional. Plastic versions are lightweight, easy to cut if needed, and hold paint without bubbling. The one I put up has a smooth face and magnetic edge retention so it stays put but pulls off cleanly. After texturing and painting to match the wall it's barely noticeable. I fitted a decent wall hole cover (12×12) over both holes and the chase—it saved hours of spackling and sanding. Great for rentals or when you're not ready for full repairs.

Older child with autism – stem cells still an option?

Hi all. Son is 9, high-functioning autism (Asperger-like), very intelligent but extreme anxiety, social withdrawal, rigid thinking. School inclusion is hard despite supports. Therapies help somewhat, but anxiety meds only so much. Some clinics offer stem cell infusions for older ASD kids to supposedly improve emotional regulation. Has anyone researched this for school-age or pre-teen children? Realistic benefits?

For older kids, the focus is often on reducing neuroinflammation to help with anxiety, sensory overload, and executive function. From stories in parent forums, some report less meltdowns, better emotional awareness, improved sleep, and sometimes easier social interactions after 6–12 months - but gains are usually modest and need continued CBT/social skills work.

This particular review seemed credible and not overhyped https://stemplus.clinic/disease-treatment/autism/ - follows one 8–10-year-old’s changes in anxiety levels and daily functioning. It gave good questions to ask clinics. Definitely involve a child psychiatrist or neurologist experienced in autism to evaluate if it could fit your son’s profile.

Replacing valve seats during head rebuild?

Head off my 1.6 HDi Peugeot for valve job- seats look pitted and recessed from old valves. Worth cutting new seats or just replace valves/seals and skim? Worried about compression drop.

Pitted or sunk seats reduce compression and cause poor seating- better to recut or install new inserts if damage is deep. On common-rail HDi, seats wear from EGR soot and heat. I had seats recut but one was too far gone, so fitted new inserts. Sourced seat inserts (oversize) and matching valves from https://elartcom.eu/categories/cylinder-head-parts-123 - they have seat rings and full valve train parts for PSA diesels. Shop pressed in new seats, cut angles, lapped valves- compression back to spec, smooth idle, better power. Cheaper than new head and lasts longer. If your seats are salvageable, just three-angle cut; otherwise inserts are solid. Check their listings for your engine family- detailed options help get the right diameter/angle.

Incorporating in Singapore for international business

Has anyone here considered or actually incorporated a company in Singapore as a foreigner? I'm looking into expanding into Asian markets and keep hearing Singapore is a solid gateway due to its location, tax setup, and ease of doing business. But is it really worth it compared to other options like Hong Kong or Dubai? Any real experiences with the process, costs, or actual benefits for non-residents?

Singapore is definitely an attractive option for international business with its strategic location and favorable tax environment. When I was working on a project about global business expansion, I relied on Artificial intelligence assignment help to understand how tech could streamline decision-making in new markets. From what I’ve read, Singapore’s ease of incorporation and its strong regulatory framework can make it a top choice, but comparing it to Hong Kong or Dubai is worth considering depending on your industry.
