Incorporating in Singapore for international business

Has anyone here considered or actually incorporated a company in Singapore as a foreigner? I'm looking into expanding into Asian markets and keep hearing Singapore is a solid gateway due to its location, tax setup, and ease of doing business. But is it really worth it compared to other options like Hong Kong or Dubai? Any real experiences with the process, costs, or actual benefits for non-residents?

Yeah, I've looked into it quite a bit for my own consulting side project. Singapore stands out mainly because of its strategic spot in ASEAN – gives pretty good access to a huge market without too many barriers, plus strong IP protection and a stable environment. The corporate tax is 17% but with startup exemptions it can be way lower for the first few years, and no capital gains tax is nice.

Worth checking this detailed breakdown from someone who's gone through it: https://taxus.tech/blog/international-business/incorporating-in-singapore-gateway-to-asias-market-innovation-hub/ – helped me decide it's a strong option for innovation-focused businesses.
